Hometown Desserts in Anna Maria Island

I come to this excellent place many times because I love the good air that is part of this place. The personel is exceptionally loving and well trained. The service is awfully efficient. Needless to say, the food they cook is first-rate. I ate there many times and I was always satisfied. The cost is modest. I recommend this restaurant to to everybody.

We order a cake from Hometown Desserts every birthday AND gluten free cake and cupcakes for my daughter because she has Celiac Disease and can't eat gluten. We've checked everywhere and Hometown Desserts are the best at making gluten free taste amazing. It's so good that when we have birthday parties, my daughter's friends would rather eat her GF cupcakes (or cake) instead of the regular ones! Also, they are very fast and they are amazing bakers and decorators.

Ordered my wedding cake from Hometown desserts and it was perfect! All of my guests loved it - especially the Key lime layer! They also delivered it perfectly and on time to my venue - the Sandbar. Also, they made me a gluten free cupcake since I couldn't eat my wedding cake and that was delicious too!!!

Place is so cute and clean. Cakes are unbelievable. A must go!

Ordered a gluten-free birthday cake for my delightful daughter and we all thought it was one of the best gf cakes we have ever had. It tasted very close to regular, gluten cake! Half left per our family tradition! Coffee there is pretty good, too.

Can't get enough of this place and wish i could haven't shipped! If you are gluten free, there are delicious options. The GF key lime pie is the stuff of dreams. Don't come to Anna Maria Island and skip this stop. It can be easy to miss when driving by, so look closely!

Cindy and Hometown Desserts were amazing. My wedding cake was just how I imagined. Cindy helped us pick out the cake flavors and worked with us to customize it to our liking. The coconut key lime cake was a big hit at the reception. We also had Strawberry and chocolate that were just as tasty. They also made cookies in seashell shapes frosted with our colors - packed each cookie in a clear bag with a ribbon. Our guest loved them. thanks so much for everything!!

Best desserts and coffee on the island. GREAT customer service. Dropped a slice of pie on the sand walking out of their store, and they replaced it for free!

Very happy that they make gluten free desserts! I recommend their gluten free chocolate cupcakes with chocolate or vanilla icing!

The chocolate brownies are so delightful and so heavy I ate it before I went to bed and it kept me up for three days. This is speaks volumes to the amount of coco in the brownie it was out of this world. If you like sweets that make your toes curl then stop here.

We had key lime coconut cake and orange cream cake and iced coffee with dark chocolate flavor. All were very VERY delicious! Unfortunately they’re closed Sundays! I will visit again next time!

This bakery went above and beyond for my parents Anniversary. The owner was so sweet and helpful. She even delivered the cake. It was a delicious chocolate cake. My parents were thrilled with it. Super yummy! The cake pop truffles were so smooth and tasty, and make a little girls dream come true with the mermaid cake pop! Lots of variety of desserts to decide from!

Delicious everytime I visit!

Quaint and fun spots for delectable desserts. We thoroughly enjoyed the classic coconut cake and chocolate cakes. Both were not too sweet and very light and moist. Definitely try this place out. They have delicious coffee, juice, and tea drinks too.

I highly recommend this bakery. Cindy was wonderful to work with, She even called me from her cell phone when she was out of town. I ordered a small (17 servings) coconut key lime cake which was to be ready the following week. It was delicious as well as beautiful. Excellent service!

We love the peanut butter pie. Our favourite. Be good to offer one with oreo crust. Next best is the orange cake. It is awesome! The chocolate is also awesome and so is the strawberry. However the lemon is flavourless. Customer service could improve...the young girl serving us was always in a hurry, and one time refused to accommodate us with orange cake slices even though there were orange cakes in the fridge that could have been sliced up. It was 2 in the afternoon, so still a lot of time to sell more orange cake slices the rest of the day.

Had a excellent experience in here with my kids. The food arrived quickly and the service is just fantastic. Prices are fair.

The best cake I have ever eaten. Highly recommend the red velvet cake! I go here all the time. Wish I could put more stars!
